They tried to decorate for the Americans. They had Christmas on display everywhere. It was too funny!
We left there and headed to McDonald's. Is tastes so good and we don't hardly ever eat it at home! Haha
The biggest milestone today was for nap time. At the Hilton in the last city, we had two double beds and a couch. The couch was hard, so you slept with us some, but it was almost like you had no choice. Here, they gave her a longer playpen and she loved it because she has slept in a crib since last June. It is conforting for her and feels like home. When you saw it here, you beamed. Today was a nap, you happily climbed into bed with us and snuggled and laid on me! It was like you were tired of giving up the fight and was ready for mother's love. I kissed all over her and had the best rest yet!!!!!!! The walls have been taken down. It feels like from your view we have been together forever. Thank you, Jesus. It only took us seeing you to make us feel this way, but it is amazing in this short time that you have adjusted.
We finished with dinner upstairs and pool time with friends. This time your Baba Got in per your request. :). We came back to the room and got your chocolate ice cream you were rewarded. You climbed into bed with us for the night and snuggled us closely.
You are such an inspiration to us, Joy. You are the strongest person we have ever met. I am so glad this was God's plan for you and us. It is so much tragedy to wrap our hearts around how you became ours.
I will keep praying that many others feel this joy from adoption. You cannot fathom our feelings for you. We will love you forever.
Love,
Mommy
